A Night to Remember

The opening ceremony of the 1992 Summer Olympics took place on the evening of Saturday 25 July 1992 at the Estadi Olímpic de Montjuïc in Barcelona.

These Games were the second and last two consecutive Olympic Games to be held in Western Europe after the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France.

The official name of the 1992 Summer Olympics was the Games of the 25th Olympiad and they were held in Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia in Spain, from 25 July to 9 August 1992.
