Sunderland keen on double swoop as Liverpool and Everton eye summer swoop for youngster

Sunderland are keen on a double swoop for Liverpool and Everton youngsters this summer, according to reports.

The Black Cats are said to be interested in signing defender Conor Bradley and midfielder Lewis Dobbin from the Premier League duo.

Bradley, 19, has made eight appearances for Liverpool this season, while Dobbin, 19, has featured twice for Everton.

Both players are seen as highly-rated prospects, and Sunderland are hoping to bring them to the Stadium of Light this summer.

Bradley is a versatile defender who can play at right-back or centre-back.

He has impressed for Liverpool's Under-21s this season, and has also made his debut for the Northern Ireland senior team.

Dobbin is a skilful winger who has a good eye for goal.

He has been in impressive form for Everton's Under-21s this season, and has also made his debut for the Republic of Ireland Under-21s.

Sunderland are hoping to build a squad that is capable of challenging for promotion to the Premier League next season.
